Description

The pelvis is more than just the bowl in which our organs rest; is it intimately related to the whole thus emphasizing the interrelatedness of the entire body as known through our Osteopathic tenents.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the anatomy of the pelvis in regards to bony, muscular, and fascial relationships
2. Understand the interrelationship of the pelvis to those body regions above and below
3. Understand the importance of the pelvis in regards to the other medical conditions
4. Lab manual will explain treatments of common innominate dysfunction 

The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 0.75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.  

Grievances Related to the Returned CME Program Administration and Evaluation Document – It is the policy of the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association (IOMA) that all grievances related to the returned CME program administration and evaluation document will be referred to the Board of Trustees and whatever action they deem necessary will be taken.

Adrian L. Woolley, DO is a 1995 graduate of Des Moines University. She completed a traditional rotating Internship at Des Moines General Osteopathic Hospital and completed a Family Practice Residency there as well. She is currently boarded in Family Practice, Neuromuscular Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, has a certificate of Recognition of Proficiency in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, and has learned Acupuncture. She is currently in her 21st year of working at the University where she sees patients and trains medical students in the OMM Department.
